Beth started sewing about 1962. Mostly clothing throughout school and college. Then came the family and she branched out. Curtains, costumes, bedspreads, doll clothes, girl scout badges, military insignia, formal wear.
She practiced Dental Hygiene for thirty two years.Memorial Day, 2003 was the beginning of a downward spiral medically for about 2 1/2 years. An auto accident then (not related) a year later a liver transplant slowed down the day to day activities.
But now things are almost back to normal. She spends her days and yes her nights sewing and volunteering. Quilting and wearable art are her areas of concentration now. She loves to teach others to produce items that fit or that "look like the picture does".
She teaches in her studio one on one or in the community at the Oconomowoc Public Library or by request.
